Event Details
Games, music, food, and fun are just the highlights of the Friendship Firehouse Picnic on Sunday, September 23, 2012!
The best part is the people: the Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services staff and their families, who will be honored at this event, and the members of the Alexandria Community who are showing their support.
Ticket purchase includes all activities, and food from Alexandria favorites: Pork Barrel BBQ, Hard Times Cafe, Alexandria Cupcake and Ben & Jerry's.
Activities assisted by the Neighborhood Improvement Corps (NIC), include the Fearless Fireman obstacle course, Bucket Brigade balloon splash, moon bounce, Fabulous Frisbee Toss, Hoops, Beanbag and Gummi Bear toss, volleyball, sack races and more!
Appearances by Alexandria Fire Department vehicles, Town Crier Benjamin Fiore-Walker, and bands Bumpkin Pie, Herb & Hanson and the Kate Moran Band provide a fun & festive day!
